When is the CE marking required for a product?

- CE marking is mandatory if a product falls within the scope of at least one EU directive/regulation that requires the CE marking. Please check our CE guideline overview
- Your product is placed on the market in the European Economic Area or Turkey.
If your product does not fall within the scope of harmonization regulations according to Parag. 1, then the CE marking is prohibited.
